Golden years (2024)

digital drawing / texture

Golden Wrapper is a picture book about the beauty and difficulty of letting go.

Through the metaphor of a girl clinging to a piece of golden chocolate wrapping, the story reflects how we often hold on to fleeting moments of glory, afraid to move forward. Her efforts to preserve the wrapper—only to watch it slowly fade or disappear—mirror how our attachment to the past can weigh us down.

When the crow finally takes the wrapper away, it becomes a quiet symbol: letting go doesn’t mean losing value, but making space for growth.

This story gently encourages people — especially those stuck in nostalgia or fear of change—to find the courage to release what was, and trust that life still holds many beautiful surprises ahead.

the work explores the sense of wandering that comes with early adulthood, while also drawing insights from voices across generations. It is a quiet invitation to reflect on where we come from, where we’re headed, and how we define our own paths.

Catch the wind (2022)

water color / Collage / color pencils

Catch the Wind is a picture book about a little girl who drifts into a mysterious dream world.

In this world, there are no maps or instructions—only feelings, colors, and sounds that guide her. Through each step, she follows an invisible thread of curiosity and wonder, as if the wind itself is whispering a path meant just for her.

This story is about the quiet power of intuition, and the courage to follow the things that make our hearts feel light. Catch the Wind reminds us that sometimes the most beautiful journeys begin when we let go of control, trust our senses, and allow ourselves to be guided by the invisible forces of joy, imagination, and hope.

digital drawing

Mr. Mouse Wants to Go to the City is a short pop-up book that gently explores the themes of curiosity, disillusionment, and self-discovery.

In this story, Mr. Mouse dreams of leaving his quiet countryside home to explore the bustling city he’s always heard about. He packs his tiny suitcase and sets off on an adventure, only to find that the city is loud, crowded, and full of unfamiliar rhythms. It’s not the magical place he imagined—but it is an experience he needed.

In the end, Mr. Mouse chooses to return home, not out of failure, but with a heart full of understanding. The journey was worth it, because sometimes, you have to take the first step to know where you truly belong.
